BERU V1.0
Here is it the official fully complete Biohazard Emergency Response Unit (V1.0).
Complete with 5 fully primed and polished black and yellow sinks...
BERU (be-roo) or Biohazard Emergency Response Unit is responsible for keeping Cartown free of biological hazards and other health risks.
BERU's vehicles all share the same black and yellow paint scheme with the roof black and "BERU" painted on top, this allows for easy identification form a helicopter.BERU got their colors because they needed something that was eye catching yet warned of danger hence black and yellow.
BERU's badge has been with them since the founding of the unit. It's unique in that it looks quite intimidating and yet there is a reason for each element in the badge. The badge starts with a large circle that enclose all other parts of the badge that symbolizes containment.Next is the inner circle this is portrayed as a peace sing containing all other elements of the badge this symbolizes peace. The Gas mask in the center represents the BERU agents and divides the hazard and medical symbols this symbolizes protection/safety from danger. The three hazard symbols on the right are a skull and cross bones symbolizing lethal toxins, biohazard and radiation symbols are self explanatory, the shield represents defense. On the Left are the medical symbols a Cross,Star of Life and the Rod of Aesculapius all represent treatment and healing.
The Biohazard Emergency Response Unit can also be found at auto shows talking to and educating the people of Cartown on what to do during an emergency and the proper disposal of hazardous waste like car batteries, old ATF fluid, car tires and used motor oil.BERU often features 1 or 2 promotional cars at their display to draw attention, featuring a more hip reworked version of their badge referred to as RUBE buy the BERU agents. This years cars feature a new Lamborghini and a custom built hot rod.
